Donation of resources

While it is not a primary function of our group, from time to time we have funded resources that are of particular significance in diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. One such donation was a Laborie UROCAP III Flow Meter which was presented to The Canberra Hospital. This piece of equipment measures the rate of urine flow for patients who have urolological disorders. This will be of great value to patients who have prostate problems or who have been treated for prostate disorders. It will of course be of value to other types of patients who have urological disorders, including both men and women.

The pictures below were taken at the formal handover of the flow meter to The Canberra Hospital on 13 February 2012. Win News was present at the handover and this eventuated with our President - Peter Daley - appearing in a news segment on TV that evening - good publicity for the cause!
